La Bisbal d'Empordà, capital city of pottery, organizes this new format event with the intention of showcasing the art of ceramic. The first edition revolved around the subject of 3D pottery.
With very good interaction between 3D collaborators and Ceramistes la Bisbal. For this 2021, we are scheduling actions at Terracotta's Museum I+D room, to project a second edition of the Terracotta Biennal 2022 repeating the same theme.
With the intention to set future strategies for the ceramics industry, always taking into account the history of la Bisbal's pottery, and that the pottery sector does some research, updating and stays in contact with the international markets as a way to offer quality products with more added value. Because, as it so happens with other kinds of materials, nowadays, there is a wide range of methods for 3D printing.
