A multidisciplinary artist, she has studied a wide range of disciplines, from fashion design to ceramics, creative writing and illustration. In 2000, when she began her training in ceramics, she also embarked on her professional career in the arts and crafts. Always committed to social and environmental initiatives, in 2014 she began incorporating these concerns into her ceramic work through themes related to nature, and by 2017 they had become the central focus of her artistic practice across all disciplines. She has participated in various group exhibitions and art festivals, as well as solo exhibitions. Finalist for the 2021 Agbar Award. Member of the Drap’Art artistic collective.
Her artistic practice is characterised by a constant evolution and diversification of techniques, disciplines and materials. A combination of restlessness, curiosity, awareness and experimentation allows her to create new artistic languages. By combining traditional techniques such as drawing with recycled materials, she creates images that reach beyond the surface, crossing the boundary of superficiality to settle into the subconscious and awaken critical thinking.
Particularly in her painting and illustration work, she seeks to capture the attention of a broad audience through an image that is, in a sense, more “aesthetic”, while subtly conveying a message of sustainability and environmental awareness. It is a cry for help expressed through the use of recycled materials, while at the same time leaving a space for hope through works that are always original and unique, opening doors to creativity.
Social and environmental activism, persistent injustices and human dramas are the main themes of her work. These are issues that concern and anger her, and which have become an essential part of her artistic language.
