He trained as an industrial designer in the 1980s and, after a brief professional experience in the industrial sector, turned to the craft of jewellery making.
This allowed him to move much closer to the artistic world and, after winning the 1990 Barnajoia Award, jewellery became his profession. For years, he combined his professional activity with art, creating bronze sculptures, mixed-media paintings and other works, always working with a wide range of materials. During this period, he held small exhibitions within his local social circle.
During his years as president of the manufacturers and craftspeople section of the Catalan College of Jewellers, his artistic activity was significantly affected.
Around 2012, following a personal process, he left the jewellery profession and returned to the extracurricular activity of his childhood: ceramics. He created his first collections of functional pieces, which quickly led him to experiment and gradually move towards the world of art.
Over the past seven years, he has participated in various group exhibitions and several solo exhibitions, now fully focused on his artistic practice.
During the past year, he has been involved in launching Artisans, an association of craftspeople in the Anoia region, where he has lived since adolescence. The association allows him to explore the relationship between art and craftsmanship collectively, with all the conceptual implications that this entails.
